Mihai Matei

Mihai Matei is an experienced business leader with a strong background in managing and expanding operations within the retail and innovative solutions sectors. Since August 2010, Mihai has served as the Managing Director of Bachmann Hong Kong, spearheading the company's Asia Pacific expansion, overseeing business development, sales, marketing, product development, and supply chain management. Previously, as the Managing Director of Bachmann Romania, Mihai led the organization’s growth, increased sales, and implemented continuous improvement processes. Before joining Bachmann, Mihai held various managerial roles at Praktiker, including Area Sales Manager, Project Manager for new store openings, and Store Manager, contributing to significant retail operations in Romania. Mihai holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria and has furthered education at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
