David Beley

David Beley has work experience in various roles starting from 2017. David started their career at Safran as a Data Engineer where they programmed a tool to query and format data from databases using Python, Flask, and Bootstrap. In 2018, they worked as a Back-End Developer at Sensefact, participating in the development of Sensefact's IA platform using Java, Tinkerpop, JUnit, and IntelliJ IDEA. In 2019, they worked as a Data Scientist at EDF, where they focused on novelty detection on documents in a text data stream, utilizing various word and sentence embeddings (GloVe, fastText, sent2vec, infersent, USE) in a binary classification task. David benchmarked this task with SentEval. In 2020, they joined Vyve - data by beNext and BNP Paribas as a Data Engineer, where they worked until 2021. Currently, in 2021, they are working at Back Market as a Backend Engineer.

David Beley's education history is as follows:

From 2018 to 2019, they attended Université Lumière Lyon 2 where they pursued a Master 2 degree in Data Mining, specializing in Mathematics and Statistics.

In the previous academic year, 2017 to 2018, they completed their Master 1 degree in Computer Science at the same university.

Before that, from 2016 to 2017, David pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, known as Licence 3 MIASHS-IDS (Informatique et Statistique pour la Science des Données), also at Université Lumière Lyon 2.

Beginning in 2014 and ending in 2016, David enrolled in IUT de Paris - Rives de Seine, where they focused on studying STID (Statistique et Informatique Décisionnelle), a program that combines Statistics and Decision-Making in Computer Science.
