Stuart Miller

Stuart Miller is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with a strong background in finance and technology. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Backstage since May 2020, Stuart previously held positions as a Venture Associate Fellow at Sherpa Ventures from August 2021 to December 2022 and as Founder & CTO of WECAST. Under Stuart's leadership, WECAST established itself as the largest marketplace for models and actors in Africa, generating over $2 million in job opportunities in 2019 and achieving remarkable growth. Earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Investec, where Stuart contributed to the development of core banking systems and forex trading services. Stuart holds a CFA charter and degrees in Finance and Information Systems from Stellenbosch University.
