Patrick Schofield is the founder, director, and CEO of Backabuddy, a company with a vision to activate communities around causes they believe in. Patrick is also the founder and board member of Uprise.Africa, a pioneering equity crowdfunding platform, and Thundafund.com, an online channel for accessing capital and mentorship support. Additionally, Patrick is the founder of Streetwires, The Indalo Project, Kwalapa, and Billboard, where Patrick applies sound business principles for social impact. Patrick has also worked as a National Rural Business Development Consultant for the International Fund for Agricultural Development. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree and Honours in Marketing from the University of Cape Town.
