Arthur Alves

Arthur Alves has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. 👨‍💻 Arthur is currently working at Backbase as a Lead Principal Mobile Engineer, where they are involved in hands-on activities to improve products and ensure customer project success. 👨‍💻 Arthur also contributes to defining the long-term mobile strategy based on industry developments and customer demands. Arthur has experience as a Principal iOS Engineer at Backbase as well.

Prior to joining Backbase, Arthur worked at Vinted as a Senior iOS Engineer. 👨‍💻 Arthur has also held multiple roles at Backbase, including Principal Mobile Engineer in the Developer Enablement department, Principal Mobile Engineer/Tech Lead in the Customer Success department, and Senior Mobile Engineer/System Owner in the RnD department. In these roles, they provided technology accelerators, helped drive technical initiatives, and led the development of mobile accelerators and products for financial institutions.

Outside of Backbase, Arthur worked as a Creative Director at Redslash Studios BV. 👨‍💻 Arthur also gained experience as a Lead Developer at Dapptive AB and Qviky AB, and as a Software Developer at Nurss and Carambola Lab. Prior to their career in technology, Arthur worked as a System Analyst Junior at Almeida Construções e Incorporações ET LTDA.

Throughout their various roles, Arthur has demonstrated a strong focus on improving software quality, performance, and upskilling people. 👨‍💻 Arthur has also been involved in architecture design, technical initiatives, and promoting transparency and open sourcing of internal tools.

Arthur Alves completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Estácio between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, between 2007 and 2009, they attended Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas in Brazil, but no degree or field of study was specified. In 2015, they obtained a certification in Real Time Web with Node.js from Code School.
