Gertjan Osinga

Gertjan Osinga has extensive work experience in finance and business control. Gertjan started their career as a Stagiair - Commerciële zaken at SFB Verzekeringen in 2003. Gertjan then worked as a Business Consultant at Atos Consulting from 2006 to 2008, focusing on cost management and risk management projects. In 2008, they joined Vodafone Netherlands and held various roles including Business Partner Manager and Manager Financial Planning, where they were responsible for sales and financial planning. In 2015, Gertjan joined Liberty Global and took on roles such as Director Finance - Commercial Control B2C and Director Finance - Technology, overseeing budget management and implementing operational improvements. In 2023, they joined Backbase as the VP Business Control.

Gertjan Osinga obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics from NHL Hogeschool in the years 2000-2004. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Financial Management at Nyenrode Business University from 2004-2005.
