Jarno van Hurne

Jarno van Hurne has extensive work experience in the software industry. Jarno is currently working at Backbase as the Head of Business Banking and VP Product, where they lead the Business Banking value stream, develops strategies, and builds solutions on top of Backbase's Engagement Banking Platform. Additionally, they are responsible for the initiative to transition Backbase products to a SaaS model. Prior to this, Jarno worked at Exact for many years, holding various roles such as Global Product Line Director, Director of Projects and Enablement, Global Solution Marketing Director, and Global Product Marketing Director. Jarno also has experience in solution portfolio management, customer service management, and support consulting. Jarno began their career at Exact as a Customer Support Staff, providing support and consultation to customers using Exact software.

Jarno van Hurne completed the Strategic Leadership Program at Nyenrode Business University in 2021. Jarno obtained a Master's degree in Business Economy from Radboud University from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from Avans University of Applied Sciences from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, Jarno has obtained several certifications, including "Becoming a Product Manager: A Complete Guide," "Cultivating a Growth Mindset," "Teamwork Foundations," "Coaching and Developing Employees," and "Listen to Lead" from LinkedIn.
