Joana Luiz

Joana Luiz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in customer operations and revenue management. Currently serving as the VP of Customer Operations at Backbase since January 2025, Joana leads operations across sales and customer success. Previously, at Feedzai from February 2019 to January 2025, Joana held multiple senior roles, including VP of Revenue Operations and VP of Customer Success Operations, as well as positions in product operations and strategy. Earlier experience at TIMWETECH involved serving as Business Unit Director for the Mobile Credit business unit, with responsibilities in P&L, product development, and strategy, along with a role in sales and marketing for Electronic Arts in the Latin American region. Joana's career began with significant involvement in Nasdaq IPO preparation and as a controller. Joana holds a Master's degree in Finance from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics.
