Rutajeet Mukherjee

Rutajeet Mukherjee is a Senior User Experience Designer at Backbase since July 2022, focused on enhancing the end-to-end experience of leading financial institutions in India through design system creation and cross-functional collaboration. Mukherjee has mentored UI/UX design students at AND Academy and Designerrs | UI UX Design Lab, and previously worked as a User Experience Designer at Apollo 24|7, where extensive research improved the platform’s Search tool. Prior experience includes a significant design revamp project for a major German biopharma e-commerce company at Tata Consultancy Services. Rutajeet Mukherjee holds a Master’s degree in Industrial & Communication Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Bachelor’s degree in Product Design (Leather) from the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi.
