Sabine van Rienen

Sabine van Rienen is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel IT at Backbase since June 2022. Prior to this role, Sabine held the position of Advocaat/Legal Counsel Digital & IT at Philips from July 2017 to June 2022, and previously worked as an Advocaat/Attorney-at-law and Paralegal at Louwers IP|Technology Advocaten from April 2011 to June 2017, specializing in intellectual property and IT law. Sabine's early experience includes serving as Vice Chair and Board Member responsible for Education at Jonge Balie Oost-Brabant from April 2014 to April 2016. Academically, Sabine has attained a Master of Laws (LLM) with a focus on private law from Grotius Academie (2017-2018) and holds both a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Challenge Program degree from Tilburg University (2006-2012), as well as having studied as an exchange student in European & International Law at Uppsala University in 2009.
