Stephen Jordan

Stephen Jordan is an experienced engineering manager with a strong focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) at Backbase since August 2019. In this role, Stephen oversees engineering teams responsible for core Java backend and frontend capabilities, emphasizing the development of high-performing cross-functional teams and engineering excellence. Previously, Stephen served as the Principal Quality Engineer at Backbase, providing quality oversight and leadership within the IAM Value Stream. Prior experience includes heading the Quality Engineering function at FINkit®, managing test engineering teams at IBM and Monitise plc, and various testing roles at Gocompare.com, Target Group, Atradius, and Admiral Group plc. Stephen holds a BSc in Computer Science and Geography from Oxford Brookes University.
