Stephen Retchford

Stephen Retchford is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the financial services and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Head of Technology for Canada at Backbase, Stephen has also held key positions such as Director at Stretch Consulting Inc. and Director of Data Services - API Delivery and Operations at RBC. Notable roles within RBC include Lead Solutions Architect for Mobile Wallet and Senior Solution Architect. Stephen began their career as an Application Architect at TVO. An alumnus of Carleton University, Stephen earned a Bachelor of Computer Science with a focus on Management and Business Systems from 1998 to 2003.
