Wendy Ung

Wendy Ung currently serves as Senior Manager of Enterprise Ethics & Compliance at Backbase since August 2022, following a role as Group Ethics & Compliance Manager at Prosus Group from September 2021 to July 2022, where Wendy was involved in developing and embedding the Group E&C programme. Prior experience includes serving as Group Ethics & Compliance Manager at VEON from October 2017 to June 2021, where an achievement includes successfully completing a three-year independent compliance monitorship recognized by US authorities. Wendy's earlier roles feature compliance management positions at Avon, where responsibilities included regional compliance for Western Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as paralegal roles at Shakespeare Martineau and Harvey Ingram Shakespeares, with foundational experience at Tollers. Wendy holds an educational background from CILEX Law School.
