At Backbay, we see hydration as a lifestyle of wellness, sustainability, and conscious choice. Born at the intersection of design, wellness, and purpose, we exist to redefine what premium hydration means for modern India.

Our philosophy - Sense. Savour. Sustain, guides everything we do:
	•	Sense the purity of our products,
	•	Savour each sip as a mindful ritual,
	•	Sustain the planet with circular, future-forward choices.

Co-founded by Bhumi Pednekar, acclaimed actor and sustainability advocate, and Samiksha Pednekar, lawyer-turned-entrepreneur, Backbay is more than a beverage brand, it’s a movement toward conscious, curated living.

Our debut line, Backbay Aqua, brings you natural mineral water sourced responsibly and packed in FSC®️-certified, gable-top cartons, a first-of-its-kind format in India. Additionally, our caps are made of sugarcane resin and not virgin plastic. This innovative packaging not only protects water’s natural integrity but is also designed with sustainability at its core, reducing reliance on single-use plastic.

And this is just the beginning. We’re soon expanding into sparkling water and functional water, offering new ways to experience hydration that combine taste, wellness, and conscious design.
