Barbara Nelson

Barbara Nelson is a board member at Backblaze. Barbara was previously the VP of Cloud Services, Software and Strategy at Western Digital Corp from January 2016 to December 2020. Prior to that, they were the GM and EVP at IronKey by Imation from January 2013 to December 2016, where they successfully grew the B2B SaaS 32% annually and turned the business profitable. Before that, they were the EVP at Lone Pinnacle from January 2011 to December 2013, where they drove the design, development and marketing of mobile apps. Barbara has also served as a director/advisor at Alliance of Chief Executives from January 2011 to December 2013, and as the CEO and board member at Element Labs from January 2008 to December 2010.

Barbara Nelson has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an Executive Program in Corporate Finance and Structure - M&A from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
