Klajd Deda

Klajd (Clyde) Deda is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and modernizing applications across various platforms. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Backblaze since November 2021, Klajd leads the modernization of macOS desktop clients using Swift and SwiftUI. With a career spanning over two decades, Klajd has worked with multiple organizations including id-design, Inc., where independent software development for macOS systems is a focus, and Marriott International, contributing to the Bonvoy iOS application. Previous experience also includes roles at Fannie Mae, AOL, and Apple, among others, showcasing expertise in client-server applications, legacy software maintenance, and cross-platform solutions. Klajd's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Polytech Lille and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
