Manuel LR is a seasoned Cloud Security Architect with extensive experience in cybersecurity and information security. Currently serving as a Cloud Security Architect at Backblaze since August 2021, Manuel also contributes as an Infosec Skills Author and as a subject matter expert for CompTIA certifications, including Cloud+ and Cybersecurity Analyst+. Prior to Backblaze, Manuel held key roles at Amazon Web Services and Gemalto, focusing on cloud security engineering and governance. Manuel’s career spans over two decades, starting as a Network Administrator and progressing through various positions that emphasize security architecture, compliance, and vulnerability assessment. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering from the SANS Technology Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
