Robert Fitt

Robert Fitt is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Backblaze. Robert has over twenty years of experience in human resources and has been with Backblaze since June of 2021. Prior to joining Backblaze, Robert was the founder of Green Talent Co, a strategic advisory and fractional HR firm. Robert has also served as the Head of People at 360 Behavioral Health and as an HRBP at AgriTech.

Robert is a highly accomplished HR professional with a proven track record of success in scaling organizations and improving retention. Robert has a deep understanding of the latest HR trends and is an expert in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and change management. Under Robert's leadership, Backblaze has seen improved communication and organizational stability, and they have successfully launched several initiatives to attract and retain top talent.

Robert Fitt has a Masters in Employment Law from the University of East Anglia as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Staffordshire University. Robert is also a Chartered member of CIPD Qualifications and has a certification from GigTalent as a Certified Consultant.

They are on a team with Brian Wilson - CTO, Tom MacMitchell - General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, and Tim Nufire - Chief Cloud Officer. Robert Fitt reports to Gleb Budman, CEO.
