Timothy McLeod

Timothy McLeod is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in storage systems and hardware support. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer - Storage at Backblaze since November 2021, Timothy previously held key positions at leading technology companies such as Pure Storage, Hewlett-Packard Storage, Xyratex, DataDomain/EMC, NetApp, Yosemite Technologies, and Apple. Notable contributions include developing qualification procedures for storage components, supporting SAS hardware and driver functionalities, and architecting the Mac OS X Storage Subsystem. Timothy holds a Master of Information Technology with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from UNSW and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University-Sacramento.
