Backboard.io is foundational AI infrastructure for teams building serious production systems.

We give developers and enterprises a single API to orchestrate their entire AI stack across more than 17,000 models, with built-in stateful memory, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, routing, and cost optimization.

Our platform is designed around a simple belief: memory is architecture, not a feature.

Instead of stitching together vector databases, session stores, orchestration layers, and model gateways, teams use Backboard to handle persistence, long-term context, and intelligent retrieval automatically. We manage when information is written, how it is retrieved, and which model should be used so applications remain coherent over time without fragile glue code.

Backboard avoids vendor lock-in by supporting proprietary and open-source models through a unified interface, allowing teams to swap providers, run benchmarks, and control spend without rewriting their applications.

We are trusted by teams building agent systems, enterprise copilots, research platforms, and large-scale production workflows that demand reliability, security, and performance.

From startups to global organizations, Backboard helps builders move faster, ship smarter systems, and operate at scale.

Your entire AI stack.
World-class memory.
One API.
