Peter Huson

Peter Huson, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Peter is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Backbone since September 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Head Of Operations at Backbone from December 2018 to September 2020.

Peter is also a Co-Founder of One Log House since September 2016 and Northern Nights Music Festival since April 2013.

Peter worked as a Compliance Officer at Mesh Ventures from March 2018 to January 2021.

Peter has a background in engineering and has worked as a Project Engineer at BLAP Productions from January 2010 to October 2020. Peter also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Rayotek Scientific, Inc. from September 2012 to August 2018, and as an Acoustical Engineer at RGD Acoustics from November 2014 to May 2016.

Additionally, Peter has academic experience as a Post Doctoral Scholar at UC San Diego from June 2012 to April 2013, and as a Graduate Researcher at UCSD Structural Engineering Explosive Laboratory from August 2008 to June 2012. Peter also worked as a Finite Element Analyst at Composite Solutions International from March 2009 to January 2010.

Peter Huson, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara. Peter then pursued their Master of Science degree in Engineering Sciences with a focus on Solid Mechanics at UC San Diego from 2006 to 2008. Continuing their academic journey, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Structural Engineering with a specialization in Blast from UC San Diego between 2008 and 2012.
