Christopher Ward

Christopher Ward is an experienced professional in the cycling industry, currently serving as an Associate Buyer for Bike Apparel at Backcountry since March 2021. In this role, Christopher manages a portfolio of over 35 brands, focusing on inventory needs through various ordering methods and daily purchase order management. Previously, Christopher worked as an Assistant Buyer for Bike Hard Goods at Backcountry, supporting strategic purchasing and vendor compliance. Prior to joining Backcountry, Christopher held multiple positions at Bingham Cyclery Inc, including Shop Manager, where responsibilities included daily operations, inventory management, and customer relations. Additional experience includes roles as a Bike Mechanic and Sales Associate, enhancing customer experiences and maintaining bicycles. Additionally, Christopher served as the Students Operations Manager for Campus Recreation at Weber State University, assisting in promotional events. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Outdoor Recreation Administration from Weber State University in 2021.
