Matthew Chen

Matthew Chen has extensive experience in the retail and service industries, currently serving as an Associate Buyer at Backcountry since September 2020, previously holding roles such as Assistant Buyer and Merchandise Division Coordinator. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Ski Patrol member in Park City and held various marketing and strategic planning internships, including positions at Jet Support Services, Inc., TenantU Services, LLC, GutCheck, and Young Consulting Group LLC. Earlier in their career, Matthew contributed as a firefighter with White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company. Matthew Chen earned a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware.
