Miriam Rivera

Miriam Rivera is a board member at Backer. Miriam has also served as an advisor and venture capital director at Stanford University, as well as a member of the advisory council and online education committee. Rivera is also the co-founder of Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs and the CEO and managing director of Ulu Ventures.

Miriam Rivera graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Sociology and a concentration in Spanish (Latin American/Caribbean) Literature. Miriam then went on to complete a fellowship in Venture Capital at Kauffman Fellows and an MBA at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Miriam is currently attending Stanford Law School to earn their JD.
