Julio Terra

Julio Terra has worked in various roles since 1999. Julio began their career at Wunderman as an Assistant Account Executive, then moved up to Account Executive, Account Supervisor, and Management Supervisor. In 2007, they joined The Vidal Partnership as an Account Director. In 2009, they became an ITP Graduate Student at New York University. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Rockwell Group as an Interaction Designer and Producer. From 2013 to 2021, they were at Kickstarter, working their way up from Community Manager to Head of Technology and Design Community. In 2019, they co-founded Launch Studio and in 2020 they became a Mentor at New Museum of Contemporary Art's NEW INC. In 2021, they became the Creator Education Lead at BackerKit.

Julio Terra attended New York University from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Professional Studies in Technology Design. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Tufts University between 1994 and 1998.
