Ruby Simhadri

Ruby Simhadri has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles and industries. Starting in 1988, they were a Software Engineer at CMC LTD until 1991. They then worked as a Software Engineer at World Talk Corporation from 1994 to 1995. From 1995 to 1996, they served as a Sr. Software Engineer at Sybase Inc.

In 1996, they joined Fujitsu Software Corporation as a Chief Architect and Development Manager, and later became a Solutions Architect and Senior Product Manager. They stayed with Fujitsu until 2004.

In 2004, Ruby Simhadri became the VP and General Manager of Consulting at Ybrant Technologies for a brief period. From 2005 to 2012, they held the role of Chief Architect and Director of Engineering at APERe inc., where they built teams and oversaw the acquisition by Citrix.

At Citrix, Ruby Simhadri served as a Sr. Director of Engineering from 2012 to 2014. Following that, from 2014 to 2017, they held the position of Head of Engineering at Hooper Labs, where they built a development team and led the creation of a cloud-based platform.

Currently, Ruby Simhadri is the Chief Technology Officer at Backflipt, a role they have held since 2023.

Ruby Simhadri has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, which they obtained from 1991 to 1993. Ruby also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad (1984-1988).
