Background Mag is an independent digital magazine focused on powerful stories of adventure around the globe. Our journal speaks to outdoor enthusiasts interested in adventure storytelling, photography, human-powered sports, trending gear, sustainability, and climate change.

We tell stories about things we believe in, and we express the joy of the people who love the world, its nature, its cultures, and its people. Our primary goal is to inspire people to do things for a better and more sustainable future.

Get Outside, Have Fun.
