Our founders and EP's have built in-house creative teams for leading brands, led hundreds of agency productions, scaled studio and streamer operations, and independently developed, produced, and sold profitable feature films.

Over the last decade, we’ve watched the boundaries of entertainment disappear. Brands became publishers. Advertising adopted the language of narrative cinema. Creators emerged alongside traditional studios. The demand for premium, original work continued to grow, while legacy production has remained fragmented, expensive, and increasingly difficult to sustain.

Backhouse was built in response.

Rather than replacing the way companies work, we designed an operational model that integrates into existing teams and operations. One built for transparency, operational efficiency, and scalable support across key markets, without sacrificing the judgment, execution, and taste that great work still depends on.

Our goal has always been simple: give creative teams the confidence to focus on what matters most. We take ownership of the production complexity behind the scenes, so your people can spend more time shaping ideas, making decisions, and creating exceptional work.
