Backlinking.com is an independent research site about backlinks and SEO. It is written for SEOs, link builders, agencies, and site owners who buy, build, or sell links and want real numbers to work from.

Its original studies include the Domain Afterlife tracker, which follows thousands of expired domain sales to see what buyers did with them, and the Link Market Index, which tracks what links cost and what buyers ask for. The site also publishes practical guides and SEO news.

Backlinking.com was founded in 2026 by Aaron Seminoff, who has worked in SEO for more than 15 years. Each study publishes its method and sources.
