Alicia Dufour

Trip Leader

Alicia Dufour is an experienced Trip Leader at Backroads, having commenced in April 2024. Prior to this role, Alicia worked at the Chambre de commerce du Montreal métropolitain from May 2022 to May 2024, holding positions as Chargée de projets in international market development and Conseillère in public affairs. Earlier experience includes serving as a parliamentary assistant at the Chambre des communes du Canada from December 2019 to January 2021, specifically for the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and the Member of Parliament for Compton—Stanstead. Alicia also worked briefly at the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec as a project officer intern, and conducted research at Université Laval on LGBTQ+ family dynamics. Educational qualifications include a Master 2 in International and European Law from Université Côte d'Azur, a Master's degree in International Politics and Applied International Law from Université de Sherbrooke, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Université Laval.
