Catherine Malone is the current Director of Trip Development at Backroads, where they have held various roles since 1994. Starting as a Trip Leader, Catherine progressed to manage field activities and staff as a Regional Coordinator, and later took on the role of Leader Development Manager, overseeing the hiring and training of over 250 trip leaders. They also served as Yield Manager, implementing strategies that significantly boosted revenue. Catherine earned a BA in Economics from the University of Vermont in 1989.
