Amir Carmi is an experienced professional in the food industry with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as CEO of Bactochem since June 2020, Amir previously held the position of VP of the Food Division at Depotchem from January 2017 to June 2020. Amir co-founded PNV AGRO LTD in January 2011, where the focus was on trading and distributing a wide range of commodities and base ingredients, particularly sugars and sweeteners, in Israel until its acquisition by Chemovil Group in December 2016. Prior experience includes working as a White/Raw Sugar Trader for Tate & Lyle, where responsibilities encompassed sales, logistics, and risk management, as well as a consulting role in Financial Risk Management at Meitav Dash. Amir holds a B.A. in Finance from Ono Academic College, completed in 2007.
