Niani Tolbert

Niani “Werkfriend” Tolbert is the Founder and Chief Cultural Engineer of the #HIREBLACK Initiative, dedicated to empowering 10,000 Black womxn through training and job opportunities, resulting in a significant increase in members' income. Niani also serves as a Course Instructor at Maven, focusing on negotiation skills through the development of brag books. As an Independent Consultant, Niani offers expertise as a professional speaker, social impact strategist, and career and transformation coach. Recent engagements include judging the Future is Female Awards at Advertising Week and moderating panels at the Women of Power Summit for Black Enterprise Magazine. Niani has contributed as a career columnist for Essence Communications Inc. and co-led a workshop on pay equity at NYU Stern School of Business. Niani holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Holyoke College and participated in the Summer Venture in Management Program at Harvard Business School.
