Danielle Malloy

Facilities Sustainability Engineer at Badger Meter

Danielle Malloy has a strong background in sustainability and engineering. Danielle started their career at Badger Meter in 2012, where they held various roles. As a Facilities Sustainability Engineer, they were responsible for collecting sustainability metrics and being a member of the ESG Steering Committee. Danielle also authored sections of public sustainability reports. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Engineer, managing projects related to energy efficiency and renewable energy. Danielle initiated and managed the corporate sustainability program during this time. Danielle began their career at Badger Meter as an Intern, where they gained experience in infrastructure, water, energy, and sustainability projects.

Before joining Badger Meter, Danielle worked at the University of Hawaii at Manoa as a Graduate Research Assistant. Danielle'srole involved conducting oceanography research, quality control, and data analysis for technical documents. Danielle also collected CTD data on research cruises and prepared briefs and forecasts for weather and ocean conditions.

Danielle's first research experience was at the University of Rhode Island, where they worked as a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow. Here, they conducted oceanographic research, utilizing programming and data analysis. Danielle presented their original research on Kuroshio Extension Meanders and supported others' research by collecting physical and biological data.

Danielle Malloy holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Freshwater Sciences and Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Meteorology from Valparaiso University. In addition to their formal education, Danielle has also obtained several certifications, including Agile Foundations and Sustainability Strategies from LinkedIn in September 2022, LEED Green Associate from the US Green Building Council in December 2020, and a Project Management Certificate from UWM Continuing Education in October 2018.
