Jeff Marek is an experienced Programmer Analyst currently employed at Badger Meter since March 2023. Prior to this role, Jeff served as a Software Engineering Specialist at FIS from July 2006 to December 2022, where responsibilities included the development, maintenance, and design of various software projects focusing on web, SOA, and batch applications utilizing technologies such as Java and Oracle. Jeff also played a key role in transitioning applications from SOAP to RESTful architectures and implementing CI/CD processes. Earlier experience includes a Quality Assurance Internship at Red Prairie and a Programming Internship at Infotech, where work involved writing test cases and developing HMI interfaces. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Carroll University and an Associate of Science degree in Computer Programming from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
