Allison Barto

Allison Barto is an aerospace leader specializing in fostering efficient collaboration among large teams to address complex challenges and develop innovative flight systems. Currently, Allison serves as the Director for Defense Missions & Solutions at BAE Systems Inc., overseeing a portfolio of DoD space sensing missions. Prior to this, Allison dedicated 21 years to NASA, including 17 years on the James Webb Space Telescope as an optical systems engineer and program manager. An SPIE Fellow and recipient of the Women in Aerospace Achievement Award, Allison is also an advocate for STEM and gender diversity in engineering.
