Brian Baker is a highly experienced systems engineer currently serving as a Staff Consultant at BAE Systems, Inc. since February 2024. Prior to this role, Brian has been with Ball Aerospace since 2002, where key positions included Principal Systems Engineer, overseeing the Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution (TEMPO) instrument as lead performance engineer and serving as Chief Scientist for the Ozone Mapping and Profiler Suite (OMPS) program. In the latter role, responsibilities included managing a team of analysts focused on instrument modeling and simulation. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Montana State University-Bozeman.
