Chip Barnes is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in aerospace and engineering management. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at BAE Systems, Inc. since February 2024, Chip previously held the position of Director of Operations and Chief Engineer for Civil Space at Ball Aerospace from August 1989 to February 2024. In these roles, Chip provided vital technical support for programs, ensured technical integrity, and facilitated communication between executive staff and technical teams. Chip began a professional journey at ANSER as a Member of Technical Staff, later advancing to Program Manager and Spacecraft System Engineer.
