John Fitzpatrick

Head of Continuing Airworthiness

John Fitzpatrick is currently the Head of Continuing Airworthiness at BAE Systems, Inc., a position held since 2018. They previously served as a Principal Safety Consultant at QinetiQ from 2005 to 2013 and managed Hawk Continuing Airworthiness and served as Chief Air Engineer in the Royal Air Force from 2013 to 2017. Their extensive military career included being an Aircraft Engineer/Officer in the Royal Air Force from 1980 to 2005. John holds an MSc in Aviation Safety Engineering from Lancaster University and both a BEng(Hons) in Aerospace Systems from Cranfield University and an RAF Aircraft Apprenticeship from the No 1 School of Technical Training.
