Jonathan Chapman

Jonathan Chapman is an experienced aerospace professional with a strong background in mission concepts and architecture. Currently serving as the Department Manager for Mission Concepts at BAE Systems, Inc. since February 2024, Jonathan previously held various key positions at Ball Aerospace, including Senior Engineering Manager and Principal Engineer, from January 2018 to February 2024. Jonathan's career also includes roles at LGS Innovations as Technical Manager and Project Manager, and at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd as a Spacecraft Systems Engineer. Jonathan began the professional journey at Ball Aerospace as a Mission Systems Engineer, following the completion of a B.S. in Aerospace from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2001.
