Julia Páez

Julia Páez is a dedicated rocket scientist focused on enhancing human presence in space and ensuring the longevity of human endeavors in the cosmos. They currently serve as the Launch Systems Integration Lead at BAE Systems, following their role as a Propulsion Engineer at United Launch Alliance, where they contributed to key projects for NASA's Artemis missions. Julia has also held positions like Quality Engineer at B/E Aerospace and Mission Manager at York Space Systems, where they showcased their leadership and technical skills. As the founder of the LISTOS employee resource group and current VP of Corporate Relations for SHPE Colorado, they are passionate about fostering community and opportunities for Latin@ professionals in STEM. Julia earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
