Lance McDermott

Lance McDermott, PMP, currently serves as a Portfolio Engagement Strategist and was previously a Software Applications Engineer at BAE Systems, Inc. since June 2022. Prior to this role, Lance spent over a decade with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) in various positions, culminating as the SOF Senior Geospatial Intelligence Sergeant, where key responsibilities included developing and implementing terrain mapping programs for sUAS, managing CONUS-based flights, and training soldiers. Lance also held positions that involved task force leadership, physical security management, and the development of combat operations support during deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. Lance earned a Bachelor of Arts in Intelligence Studies from American Military University between 2014 and 2018.
