Matthew Coon

Matthew Coon is a seasoned aerospace program professional with extensive experience in program management. Currently serving as the Director of the GeoXO Program Portfolio at BAE Systems, Coon previously held a Senior Program Manager position at Ball Aerospace, where they managed the Wide Field Instrument contract for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. Coon's background includes significant roles at Honda Aircraft Company and Exelis, overseeing various critical projects, including the nationally recognized assembly and integration program for the James Webb Space Telescope. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA in Corporate Strategy and Finance from the University of Rochester.
