Michael Olmstead currently serves as the Director of Army Systems & Requirements at BAE Systems, Inc., focusing on providing advanced solutions to the U.S. Since April 2018, Michael has leveraged extensive experience in business development, previously holding the position of Director at AECOM, where strategic advice was provided to high-level government entities, and effective program management methodologies were implemented across a $400 million portfolio. Prior to AECOM, Michael spent over a decade with the U.S. Army, managing the Joint Battle Command - Platform project, overseeing a $2.1 billion lifecycle, and leading significant research and development initiatives at the Army Aeroflight Dynamics Directorate. Michael's educational background includes a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, complemented by advanced military training.
