Michael Schneider is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in autonomous systems and decision-making technologies at BAE Systems, Inc. Since 2010, Schneider has served as the Science Lead for All-Domain Autonomy, managing technical roadmaps and strategies for new technology development. Previously, as Chief Scientist for FASTLabs, Schneider led a technology portfolio aimed at enhancing military command and control through autonomy. Additional roles include Chief Scientist of Collaboration, Architectures, and Reasoning Technologies, where Schneider directed technical marketing and strategic initiatives, and Acting Technical Area Director, overseeing profit and loss for the directorate. Schneider has a strong academic background, holding a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSE in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
