Michael Werner

Michael Werner is currently a Systems Engineer Principal at BAE Systems, Inc., where they lead the systems engineering efforts for the SPHEREx Spacecraft bus. With a passion for space exploration, Michael has extensive experience in requirements development, verification and validation, and technical presentations, supported by a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to their role at BAE Systems, they held positions at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Orbital ATK, contributing to significant projects in space missions and technologies. Michael also gained managerial experience as a DiggerDial Manager and has been involved in various research initiatives during their academic career.
