Patrick Hempfling

Patrick Hempfling is a Senior Principal Materials & Processing Engineer at BAE Systems, Inc., specializing in wire bonding, die attach, and automated assembly. With over 35 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of computer-controlled electro/mechanical equipment, Patrick spent the last 30 years focused on semiconductor manufacturing and assembly equipment. They have held various roles, including Process Engineer at Aeroflex Control Components and Owner of PH Engineering, where they provided sales, service, training, and consulting across the eastern United States. Previously, Patrick worked as a Senior Field Service Engineer at Kulicke & Soffa Industries and as an Associate Manufacturing Engineer at Analog Devices Inc., where they were involved in process development and operator training. Patrick began their career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Data Systems Technician and Field Radio Operator.
