Patrick Wessels

Patrick Wessels is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in engineering execution and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at BAE Systems, Inc. since February 2024, Wessels previously held a similar role at Ball Aerospace from September 2012 to February 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple concurrent electronic programs and proposal activities related to various electronics solutions. Wessels' earlier positions at Ball Aerospace include Engineering Manager roles focused on Electrical Solutions and Electrical Harness, leading teams in harness development and managing large-scale projects exceeding $500 million. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, Wessels has a strong technical foundation complemented by a history of delivering results in high-stakes environments, including direct interactions with Department of Defense customers.
