Sarah Bird

Sarah Bird is the Director of Horizon Space at BAE Systems, Space and Mission Systems, where they focus on leading innovation and developing next-generation technology solutions. Previously, Sarah held several leadership positions at Lockheed Martin, including Advanced Payloads Group Manager and Advanced Development Senior Manager for RF Systems. Their experience also includes roles at Ball Aerospace as Advanced Systems Senior Manager and Director of Advanced Technologies and Missions. Sarah graduated "With Distinction" with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder. They are passionate about fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
