Steffany Halfrey

Steffany Halfrey is a Principal EO/IR Research Scientist at BAE Systems FAST Labs, focused on researching novel technologies in the EO/IR industry and developing modeling and simulation tools. With a strong background in data analysis and program development, Steffany has led significant Internal Research and Development efforts, totaling over $750k, and has extensive experience in designing and executing system test plans. Previously, Steffany worked in various engineering roles at companies such as Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense and L3Harris Technologies, contributing to the development and qualification of aerospace explosive products and EO/IR systems. Steffany holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
